Ashar’s 1st Birthday Party
Birthday Party Event Photographer Barking Essex. I was asked to photograph Ashar’s 1st Birthday Party at the Gascoigne Youth and Community Centre in Barking, Essex and I have to say, 2014 couldn’t have got off to a more colourful start!
When I arrived, family and friends were helping to decorate the large hall in an eye catching array of primary colours in the theme of “Charlie and the Numbers” from Baby TV – Ashar’s favourite!. The colour theme continued with a large button design back-drop, balloons and xylophone design on the cake table.
I set to work taking a few shots while the decorating continued to capture the party theme in all its’ glory before the guests arrived. There was a separate sweetie table which looked far too tempting for a sweet lover like myself and another table perfectly laid out with party bags.
Ashar’s parents had made a lovely photomontage of his first year including lots of ‘first’ moments including his first haircut, first celebrations and first Eid-al-Adha festival.
The party could not start of course without the little Prince himself and when he arrived, a little sleepy at first he quickly joined joined in with all the fun and games. An indoor bouncy castle was perfect entertainment for the older children and they enjoyed setting off lots of party poppers (who doesn’t!). The party got into full swing.
There was some lovely homemade food which I was fortunate enough to sample and a huge birthday cake complete with some impressive fountain candles – I’m not sure Ashar quite knew what to make of it all as you can see but I’m sure that the party will live long in the memory (with the help of the photographs of course)
The time flew by and before I knew it, it was time to thank the family for their hospitality and for giving me the opportunity to photograph this special day for their very special little boy.
