Event Photography London Party Photographer. I have to admit that one of the things I love about photographing parties is the music… I know it’s a weakness I have… I have even been known to dance and photograph at the same time haha!!!. When I received an enquiry for a party in a tepee I was all ears…

Shortly after the booking I received some more details about this party and I could not believe my luck!! Not only was the party in a massive huge 2-part tepee, but Brian and Scarlett were having a joint birthday party with food catered for by Bunny Chow!!!

A party with a difference…

For anyone that is not familiar with Bunny Chow, it is a South African fast food dish consisting of a hollowed out loaf of bread filled with PORK ‘N’ PICKLE. Other popular “Bunny’s” include MONKEY GLAND BUNNY, BANGCLUCK BUNNY, BOSTON BEAN BUNNY and BUNNY DOG. Then news came in they were having a Silent Disco!!!….if you are not familiar with silent disco it is basically a disco that you listen to through headphones… but there was another twist… they were also having a DJ dance off… 2 DJ’s playing their set via different channels with dancers on the dance floor choosing which DJ/Music to listen too… every set of headphones was equipped with lights for each DJ so you could see instantly which DJ had most of the audience!! GENIUS!!

Tepee’s rock!!!

I arrived at the party nice and early to photograph the tepee with glitter ball and genuine log fire!! This has to be the warmest tepee I have ever been in (now I come to think of it, the only tepee I have ever been in!)… There was also a cocktail bar inside – What more could any party-goer ask for.

Within a short while the party goers started arriving and the party was up to speed in no time. This was one of my favourite parties of all time – So many great things I could say about it… but it was all down to Brian & Scarlett who are producers at Channel 4 ……..producing shows including Big Brother, First Dates and 24 Hours in Police Custody… they were absolutely awesome!!!
