Surprise Birthday Party Photographer South East London. My last assignment of 2013 saw me venture out on New Years Eve to  Goals Football Club in Eltham and a surprise 60th (sssshhh) Birthday Party for Teresa. The party had been a whole year in the making and as it was being held on the party night of the year so it promised to be a great night.

The Venue

With the venue decorated, friends and family gathered and glasses charged all that was needed was the guest of honour, Teresa. When she arrived at the venue she was escorted by her son and husband, totally unaware of what lay in store for her. The opening photographs captured Teresa’s surprise wonderfully! It was an emotional evening as her family had managed to bring together relations and friends both past and present.

Teresa and her husband danced to their song they danced to at their wedding all those years ago alongside other meaningful songs that had been chosen as the held special memories for Teresa. The handbag birthday cake was absolutely amazing and I had to do a double take to check whether it was actually made of cake – it was almost impossible to tell the difference from the real thing!

When I left, the party continued into the night and I’m sure that they all saw in the New Year in some style. What a wonderful evening and a great start to 2014! I would like to thank Louise for asking me to photograph the surprise party – I think you will agree that it looks like everyone was having a fantastic time!!
